”Vi håller just nu på att genomföra ett projekt som syftar till att migrera data från tidigare PLM-verktyg till ett och samma verktyg, Hydra. I samband med migreringen av data så behöver vi även ena processerna och för detta behöver vi support, vi behöver således en person kunnig på processer som även förstår PLM.  RCS är verksamma över hela världen så man behöver jobba internationellt men skall vara lokaliserad i Stockholm, inga resor är planerade. Inställningen till migrering till nytt system är varierad och därför behöver personen vara väldig drivande. Ett visst förarbete har genomförts.”

Functional testing of electronic boards (RF receiver and transmitter boards, processor board, interface board). Develop test specifications and design test environment including i) instrumentation (knowledge of using network and spectrum analysers and similar RF instruments is preferable), ii) data generation/test patterns and data collection, iii) automation (execution to fail/pass reporting). The work also includes developing and implementing test scripts (LabWindows, C), execute formal tests, manage and report deviations. The starting point is the existing test environment for legacy systems, which however needs to be updated. Documentation and reviews are a natural part of all stages of the project cycle, to achieve conformance to standards. Formal version handling of files is required to ensure traceability.

FW test:
Formal (independent) test suite (black box testing) is used for verification of functional requirements. FW is developed in VHDL, as is the testbenches. The main tool is Modelsim.
The designs targets Xilinx (Spartan or Artix) or Intel (Altera Cyclone) FPGAs. Testbenches are expected to produce reports describing what has been tested and the result.
A scripting environment is used for Builds and Testing, typically a Makefile and shell-scripts. Verification also include Code coverage and functional coverage analysis. Documentation and reviews are a natural part of all stages of the project cycle, to achieve conformance to standards. Formal version handling of files is required to ensure traceability.
 
We expect the applicant to have practical experience and being reasonably confident in the field of FW and VHDL (as in FPGA/ASIC) engineering or test.
