Responsibilities and goals for the role Responsible for all activities from defining to verified solution.
Solution architecture for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) Including batteries, power converters and inverters and other power generation (ex. PV, Gen sets etc.) and the grid connection
Defining specific solutions for above. based on customer demand/business case
Overall responsible for the Requirements Specification for ESS and Power elements to be used in the system solutions
Overall responsible for technical documentation
Driver of the Certification work at ESS level
Tasks and recurring activities Pre-studies and concepts
System level design specifications including architecture and interface descriptions
Create requirements in our RDB (R4J) based on the application, applicable standards, grid codes etc
Technical documentation; ex. SLD's, schematics, site layout, technical descriptions, and user manuals
System test specifications for design validation, factory acceptance test and site acceptance test
Certification plan and conformity file's
Qualifications and experience 5 to 10 years experience from similar positions
Extensive knowledge of ESS systems and Power Converters in grid applications
Excellent experience using application specific software systems
Relevant higher education, probably BSc
Willing to travel from time-to-time
Excellent English-speaking skills verbal and in writing
