In this role you will contribute to the development and optimization of our backend platform, and its infrastructure in the cloud.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a part of our engineering team, focusing on setting up, operating, and refining our infrastructure in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

What you'll do...

• Understanding, designing, implementing and maintaining our backend platform infrastructure architecture.

• Helping to define and rationalize service-level performance indicators (SLI) and objectives (SLO).

• Enhancing our monitoring and alerting systems.

• Advocating for optimal Cloud Ops practices.

• Ensuring that our infrastructure is scalable, secure, performant and cost-efficient

• Assisting in the transition and expansion of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Improving our CI/CD pipeline.

Who you are...

• 3+ years of professional experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, or similar).

• Ability to define and rationalize service-level performance indicators and objectives.

• Experience with Redis, Memcache, or equivalent.

• Proficiency with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes

• Experience in establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent verbal and written English

Bonus

• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana and Google Cloud Monitoring.

• Experience with Cloudflare DNS and Cloudflare DDoS protection products.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.).

• A passion for video games.
