Senior BackEnd Developer

Our system is one of the most important systems in the global sales eco-system. We enable sales on a global scale, while adapting to local markets, serving and empowering thousands of sales representatives daily.

We are 22 people working in three teams to make this happen.

One of our teams is looking for a full-time backend developer with good knowledge on AWS and its services.

The team where the Backend developer will contribute, consists of two front enand three backend developers, a Scrum master and a Product Owner. We work in an agile culture, with 8 day long sprints per 2 weeks, and work with improvements of our solution every second Thursday-Friday, where people pair up 2-2 or 3-3 cross teams to improve the system together

Our Backend stack consists of the following:

• REST backends

• SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDb

• Everything is deployed to AWS (using CDK)

• Gitlab and Gitlab CI

Must have:

• Solid experience in .NET and C# for web solutions

• Solid experience in AWS

• Quality mindset, together with test experience in unit and integration testing

• Test knowledge and understanding of the different tests in the test pyramid

• DevOps understanding and experience in Deployments as well as monitoring and logging.

• A doer, self-going, methodical and able to bring ideas and solutions to inspire others.

• A person willing to share knowledge and who enjoy pair and mob programming

• Our code-base is part legacy. The ability to both improve it and sometimes live with the limitations is key

Nice to have:

• Experience with/understanding of monolith solutions

• E2E testing experience with Playwright (or some other e2e framework like Selenium)

• Gitlab CI pipelines and runners

• AWS (CDK, S3, Cloudfront etc)

Where will the assignment be performed (Onsite, Hybrid, offsite)

We work with the team 4 days remote and 1 day per week in Södertälje

Sometimes we change to gather in our office in Stockholm city instead of Södertälje.
