We are now looking for a DevOps Architect / Senior DevOps Engineer
Your role:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be an important part of the technical leadership.
You will work with the product vision and the strategic plan for our DevOps architecture.
You will be expected to clearly state your position regarding best practices and technical decisions.
You will work closely with other stakeholders, such as our software architect and our product owners, to set the roadmap for product development.
In our department, we have over one hundred software developers.
You will belong to the DevOps section which is comprised of 12 people today. The teamwork is based on Scrum and Kanban, where your ability to communicate and collaborate will be highly valued.
Here are some of the topics that you will be working with:
• Product vision, best practices, roadmap and technical decisions, and communication thereof with stakeholders and team members
• Hands-on coding in a variety of programming and scripting languages, e.g. Python, Java, Groovy and Bash.
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
• Leading continuous improvements, particularly regarding our pipeline and software quality
• Release management and release planning
• Software integration and systems testing
• Branch strategy
• Roadmap for our toolchain, for example: identifying tools and best practices for automatically generating software bill of materials (SBOM)
• Vulnerabilities in our systems
• Root cause analysis
• Improving our automatic tests and working with the product’s test strategy
• As an experienced engineer, you will also play an important role in supporting and leading our junior engineers in their daily work with technical decisions and debugging.
Your profile:
You have a collaborative mindset and you are a true team player that encourages an open, trustful and innovative climate.
You share information in a clear and easy way, both verbally and in writing.
You are a confident communicator in both Swedish and English.
We expect you to have significant experience of DevOps with some experience of
DevSecOps, software integration, systems testing and software development.
In our department, we have over one hundred software developers who work mainly with Java.
A good understanding of software development with Java is therefore meriting.
