About this opportunity

 The world is changing, and so are we. The requirements on our handling of 3PP SW within Ericsson has increased substantial in recent years due to;

• Frequent 3PP SW update (to reduce vulnerabilities) is expected by customers and a best practice in many SW echo systems.

• Standards and regulations are coming, e.g. NIST and SSDF.

We need to secure compliance to our legal requirements and Product Life Cycle Management rules and Guidance for Radio SW.

What You Will Do

Lead the evolution of data management of 3PP SW for Radio products, by:

• Drive and implement the automation of Radio 3PP SW handling.

• Cooperate in process and tools improvement work in 3PP SW related communities.

• Cooperate with Radio SW product and production architects to create an E2E flow of 3PP SW.

• Coordinate the 3PP SW activities and be the Radio SPOC for 3PP SW in governance boards and studies.

• Be responsible for the Radio SVL (Software vendor list) and support design and the release work with 3PP knowledge.

The Skills You Bring

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.

• Over 10 years of experience in software development and R&D.

• Passionate about technology and solutions and experience in developing evolving technologies.

• Innovating, adapting, and responding to change.

• Thrives on accountability, overcoming challenges with a can-do attitude and motivated to achieve beyond expectations.

• Good knowledge of Linux as a platform for software development and deployment.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.

• Experience and understanding in Build tools (Yocto), CI/CD/Jenkins and Configuration Management.

• Strong understanding in FOSS and COTS management tools (EVMS, SCAS, BDBA) and processes.

• Effective communication and fluent in English.

• Excellent technical leadership aligned with Ericsson's core values.
