Assignment Description

As a Test Engineer, you will be part of a specialized Verification & Validation team working on testing both hardware and software in advanced system solutions.

The work takes place in multiple environments – in the office, in the lab, and at customer sites – offering a varied and dynamic workday.

You will:

• Perform manual testing (main focus) and contribute to the development of automated tests

• Work with a proprietary test tool

• Test complete system solutions, including hardware and software

• Document test results clearly and systematically

• Work closely with both the design and support organizations to ensure quality and functionality

• Participate in testing both in lab environments and at customer facilities, which may sometimes involve fieldwork

Qualifications

Experience & Skills:

• Technical college/university education

• Several years of experience testing complex systems

• Experience with both manual testing and preferably automated testing

• Strong ability to document in a structured manner

• Excellent proficiency in both English and Swedish, written and spoken

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of electronics

• Software development experience

• Experience from the agricultural sector or interest in agricultural environments

• Experience working with automated tests in proprietary or customized test tools

Personal qualities:You are responsible, self-driven, and structured. You enjoy working in teams and value close collaboration with colleagues. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and flexible – and can quickly adapt to what the work requires.

Other Information

• Location: The assignment is based in Tumba. A hybrid model is applied, with office presence required at least 3 days a week.

• Scope: Full-time

• Assignment period: Long-term consulting assignment with start date by agreement

• Travel: May occur, including overnight stays, in connection with customer site testing
