Beskrivning av avdelningen:

The requested position is in the hardware department within the Downstream R&D, developing chromatography instruments/systems. The disciplines in the department are mechanical, electronics, optical, embedded SW engineering and cyber/product security.

Beskrivning av rollen/arbetsuppgifter:

This role will work in a cross-functional project team. In addition to embedded SW developers the team also includes mechanical and electronics engineers. The team has a high level of seniority.

The assignment is a part of a project that is currently in the prototyping stage.Tasks for the senior embedded SW developer vary and may include, but not limited to:

• Designing and implementing embedded software for STM32 microcontrollers.

• Debugging and troubleshooting software issues to ensure optimal performance.

• Collaborating with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components.

• Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to colleagues.

• Developing and maintaining documentation for software designs and implementations.

Krav för rollen:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in embedded software development.

• Expert in motor control and robotics.

• Proven experience with STM32 microcontrollers and related development tools.

• Strong background in C programming for embedded systems.

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as Eclipse ThreadX.

• Hands-on experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
