Your Role

We are now looking to add a more solid base of experience in the team mix. The challenge with our naval software is the size and the complexity of the code base. In a world where new is fresh we also have to align with stability and trustworthiness as our end user is defending our borders. For real.

We have teams focusing on all aspects of software development and are now looking to grow with following aspects in mind:

• Sensors and weapons applications – Java, C++

• Operator decision support – Java, C++, Python

As a team member in one of our software development teams, you have the opportunity to both teach and learn from your fellow team members and you have great influence on our products and technical solutions, as each team has their own area of expertise.

Your Profile

We think that you have worked up a knowledge within software development from learning by doing, you are familiar with the processes around requirement, development and delivery, and you are comfortable in your experience in tackling software development tasks. You understand the challenges in developing software in large and complex systems.

To contribute in our teams we think you have a collaborative mind-set and you are a team player that encourages an open, trustful and innovative climate.

Required skills/experience:

• PRO 4 (10+ years) of experience from software development

• Socially skilled and can easily connect with the people who knows the answers to your question

• You like working both in teams and independently

• Good communication skills in speaking and writing (Swedish and English)

Good-to-have skills/experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree within Science/Engineering/Technology, within computer science, engineering physics or equivalent

• Good knowledge of Java

• Good knowledge of Linux
